about

Julia Mines, PCC, is an Executive and Leadership Coach and a Creative Facilitator, working in outcomes-based models of change. She’s a keen observer of noticing what’s already working well in individuals and teams—even if only a little bit—to help clients amplify and grow these seeds of positive change for better communication, reduction of conflict, enhanced innovation, and improved culture.

She’s trained in the fields of Positive Psychology—the science of what makes people resilient and flourish; Applied Neuroscience and Mindfulness—the ways the brain can both help or hinder the best work in individuals and across teams; and Solution-Focused Change, a process that yields faster, sustainable, desired outcomes.

As a former radio broadcaster, she’s particularly interested in the stories we tell about ourselves and our organizations, and how they point to the cultures we’ve created around them. It never ceases to amaze her how quickly stories can quickly change for the better if we have a clear strategy and the best tools for the job to implement. (“Way Power” vs. “Willpower.”)
